For Trainline, Seafood Peers Deep Into the Human Soul
Your lunch knows you hate your vacation

The spicy prawns in your paella know your deepest desires. They’re gazing deep into your psyche. And they see you’re dying to cut your getaway short and return to Spain for the start of La Liga’s new season.
Dude London created the work, dubbed “Escape Your Holidays,” for ticket-booking app Trainline. Supporters of Spanish football team Real Betis Balompié are the target in this regional push, though the message is pretty universal.
The crustaceans steal it. Their deep, dead eyes—soulfully reflecting the sweaty face of one troubled Real Betis mega-fan—are a sight to behold.
He won’t be having seconds. Next time, order the bone broth instead. No eyeballs there!
Marco Santi of Be Sweet directs in a mock-intense style that adds goofy gravity to the ludicrous set-up.
“We’ve all been there, stuck on day four of a family holiday when your team needs you the most,” says Dude creative Alex Prew. “I was in France for the Women’s Euro final and I’m still not over it.”
“We filmed on a dog-friendly beach outside Barcelona, so we knew dogs running onto set was a possibility,” Prew recalls. “What we didn’t consider was the fact we had an edible lead actor. I’ll never forget our director prying a giant prawn from the jaws of a Labrador. Luckily, the prawn was unharmed and went on to give the performance of a lifetime.”
The work will run mainly on social, with influencer amplification.
