Walton Goggins Narrates Jimmy John's Summer Audiobook. And It's Pure S.M.U.T.

Jimmy John’s unveiled its “Summer Menu of Ultimate Temptation” (S.M.U.T.) today. And along with a sandwich to bring to the beach, consumers can download a smutty audiobook, narrated by White Lotus’ Walton Goggins. It’s hot—just like spicy salami. It’s about the menu, mostly.

The two-part book, “The Blade and the Brine,” is available until July 6 online and in the JJ app via the code BEACHREAD. 

VaynerMedia brought the concept to life and tapped Goggins—he of the NSFW reps—to narrate the book, which tells the story of a Jimmy John’s delivery girl who’s torn between two loves. In total, the audiobook runs about 13 minutes.

“The Blade and the Brine has everything you want in a beach read—drama, desire, a little danger,” says Goggins. “Recording it got pretty steamy. Pair it with a Jimmy John’s sandwich and, well… things get hot, fast.”

The limited-time S.M.U.T. menu features four sandwiches to take to the beach:

• Spicy East Coast Italian: A double serving of Genoa salami and capocollo, provolone cheese, oil and vinegar, onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo, topped with hot peppers.
• Beach Club: Hand-sliced turkey breast, provolone cheese, avocado spread, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
• Ultimate Porker: Made with smoked ham and applewood smoked bacon, topped with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
• Kickin’ Ranch Chicken Wrap: Chicken, provolone, onions, lettuce, tomato, Jimmy Peppers and Kickin’ Ranch in a soft tortilla.
